Dan Finke

Dan Finke serves as Group President, Markets & Commercial at Centene Corporation, a role he assumed in April 2026. He is responsible for Centene's Commercial business, Medicaid operations, and health plan markets across the enterprise, leading efforts to drive growth, operational excellence, and high-quality, affordable healthcare for the members and communities Centene serves.

With more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, Dan has held executive roles across some of the nation's leading healthcare organizations. Prior to joining Centene, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Convey Health Solutions, where he led the company's strategy and growth as a technology-enabled healthcare services organization.

Before Convey, Dan spent nearly a decade at Aetna, serving as Executive Vice President of CVS Health and President of Aetna's Health Care Benefits business. In that role, he oversaw Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Specialty businesses serving more than 35 million members nationwide. Prior roles include leadership in network, clinical, and oversight of the commercial business.

Earlier in his career, Dan served as President and Chief Operating Officer of EmblemHealth and spent more than ten years at Anthem in a variety of national leadership roles across operations, government programs, and pharmacy benefit management.

A pharmacist by training, Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati and both an MBA and Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from Xavier University.
