The American Medical Association has now released the new, revised, and deleted CPT® 2027 Maternity Care Services code information ahead of the standard publication cycle, confirming that the legacy global maternity billing model will be replaced by more granular reporting across four phases of care: antepartum care, labor management, delivery, and postpartum care.
