Julie Hill

Board Member


Julie Hill is an entrepreneur, investor, board leader, and philanthropist with a career spanning global real estate, finance, and healthcare. She has served on major corporate and nonprofit boards, including Anthem (now Elevance), Lord Abbett, Lend Lease, and the University of California system.

Earlier in her career, she was CEO of Costain Homes in the United States, the U.S. division of the UK-based international development company Costain plc. She is currently the Chair of the University of California Council of Trustee Chairs and recently received the UC Medal, the highest honor the University of California bestows.

Julie was a longtime chair of the board of directors of Human Options and led the development of the Human Options shelter for abused women and children. She was also a member of the Women’s Leadership Board of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and is a member of the International Women’s Forum and the Los Angeles Trusteeship.

She has served on the board of the Orange County Community Foundation and is the past chair of the board of the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). She has received the Amelia Earhart Award from the UCI Women’s Opportunities Center and the Glass Ceiling Award from the American Red Cross.
