Alex Ulyanov

Alex Ulyanov is SVP of Engineering & AI at Lyric, where he leads Engineering, Technical Product, AI, Data, Infrastructure, and Experience Design for Lyric42, the company’s healthcare decision intelligence platform. Since joining Lyric in 2023, he has focused on building the next generation of Lyric 42 products, applying machine learning and AI to improve payment accuracy for the health plans Lyric serves.

A technology executive with more than 25 years of experience and multiple CTO roles, Alex has built and scaled engineering and product organizations across health tech, fintech, and consumer platforms. As VP of Engineering at Rally Health, he scaled a global team of 450 engineers that delivered provider search and cost transparency tools, pharmacy drug search, and virtual care. Before that, he spent seven years as Chief Product and Technology Officer at InterFirst Mortgage, where he led the digital transformation of mortgage origination and helped grow the company from a $3M startup into one of the largest independently owned mortgage banks in the U.S.
